Lovely photos. Snails are good to practice on, they can't run away while you fiddle with your new equipment!

Cracking photos of the deer. What lens/camera did Steve use?
Recently starting up photography I have a Nikon D40 and a 70-300 lens and taking deer photos at Tatton Park they were still dots in the distance. With this in mind I am thinking of getting a x2 converter as I am hopefully going to Africa next year to climb Mt Kilimanjaro and will hopefully be going on a short safari afterwards so would like a decent lens to avoid the dot scenario with photos I may take there.

Regards

Dave

Are you looking for sponsorship for completing the climb of Mt Kilimanjaro? Just another fund raising thought for the rescue.

I loved all the the photos, particularly the sillouhette of the deer - all great shots. :s11:

Super photos of the deer and the dogs, they are 2 gorgeous girls. The deatail of the snail is excellent, but like you I hate snails too!
