Just a quickie from me but ...............
:love5:

Good morning All

Just back from the vets and feeling a much happier bunny.

Norrie has been for his weigh in and check up and it was worth all the butterflies and anxiety.

Norrie tips the scales at............. I feel we need a drum roll here.......19.9 kilos!!!!!!!! That is an increase of 1 whole kilo in a week.

Now the really good bit, on feeling his abdomen everything feels NORMAL, what a wonderful word N -O- R - M - A- L , it sort of rolls off the tongue, sorry I am just so excited, back to the serious stuff. There is no tenderness anymore and his guts are holding the food to allow a normal( that word again) transition .

The vet is delighted with the steady weight gain and we discussed his diet and she said just to carry on so that is what I will do for now certainly until he gains a fair few more kilos. I am to carry on with the Yumpro in his food twice a day.

His character is starting to really develop and he is I am afraid another shoe pincher so between him and Grayse I seldom have a pair of shoes that actually match, luckily I wear crocs around the house and have several pairs and at the moment my left one is purple whilst my right one is turquoise no doubt somewhere outside is a similar pair.

Today is a good day, a golden day, a pity it is not after 5 o'clock although what is that song " it's 5 o'clock somewhere". :-)

A very smiley me xx

EXCELLENT NEWS.

Norrie's neglect didn't happen overnight & his recovery will take months of patient careful, suitable nutrition.
Thank God for the Rescue and in particular Ky & her family's VERY special brand of love & care and that's priceless by the way !!!

John & Teddyxx :2379:

(P.S. Anyone got a spare size 24 frock???

......."Morning ladies" (quote unquote)

Only joking I know the message was probably originally sent to the team at MFK probably)
