Ozzie's Gotcha

Post by sallydog1 » 20 Aug 2019, 15:10

It's hard to believe that it's been six years since Ozzie adopted us. He is now almost eleven and as full of life as ever albeit less interested than he used to be when it comes to ball chasing. However, he still loves swimming, wading and paddling in mud whenever he gets a chance. He's also developed an uncanny ability to find lost golf balls when we walk on a bridle path that circuits the outside of a local golf course. He found six today which we've added to the twenty or so he'd already collected over the past couple of weeks. (We don't play golf - but our local butcher does!).

Ozzie is a lovely, friendly dog who is constantly approached and petted by many people we meet (although, when at the vet's, even for a minor event like his vaccination booster, he turns into Cujo!). He also enjoys going on the many 'dog friendly holidays' we take and is quite used to, and accepting of, any new place we visit.

Ozzie is a wonderful dog (like the many other lovely labs adopted from Labrador Rescue). He's given us so much love and pleasure over the six years he's been with us. Thanks Ozzie

Thanks 'Lab Lover'. What a super photo of your three boys. It's dreadful when we lose one of our dog friends - but they're never forgotten and leave us with so much in the way of happy memories. They're with us for such a short time so we give them lots of love (which they return in spades) and the best time possible while we have them. I'm sure that was very much the case with your three.

Best Wishes.

Phil and Judy
