Labrador Rescue

Six years ago today, 13th.September Jack and I first met and since that time he's been the best companion anyone could wish for, although for the first few weeks I wondered what I'd let myself in for as putting his lead on was a bit like flooring the accelerator on a Ferrari. Before long we came to a compromise, I walked a bit faster and Jack slowed down......
Unfortunately, these days our walks are very much shorter and very much slower due to the arthritis which has bothered Jack for quite a while and is now starting to affect his back legs as well...so he needs some help climbing on the sofa and we're now sleeping downstairs.
