Boy – How time flies !! It doesn’t seem like 12 months since JESS came into our lives – and completed them !!
We had almost despaired of finding a new addition to our family – so when we saw the photo of Jessie (as she was called) – we rang up and zoomed over to Eccleston. It was “love at first sight” !!

She was about 9 months old and a beautiful CHOCOLATE colour – half-Labbie and half-Collie – a sort of “Chocolate Collie !?

We took her back with us and within 48 hours she was fully settled in – Remarkable considering that she had had 2 previous owners in her short life to date.

She loves all other dogs (to her detriment sometimes - as she’s has a couple of nips !)

She’s so placid and gets on great with children (especially our 4 Grandchildren who think the World of her).

- And she loves to sniff-noses through the fence with horses and sheep !! She’s just VERY sociable.

We regularly take her on long country walks as we love the countryside and her climbing/jumping abilities are brilliant. She’ll climb 10’ ladder stiles and clear fences (when the stiles are NON-doggy friendly) – MUST BE THE COLLIE BIT !

Now that she’s overcome her apprehensions – she loves swimming – MUST BE THE LABRADOR BIT !

I think we just may enter her for the “IRON-DOG” Triathlon next year – when she’s mastered cycling !!
Mind you - She's created her own Triathlon :-
Chasing and Catching balls of all sizes.

EATING

and SLEEPING

We count our blessings that she’s a part of our lives. [img][http://www.homealabrador.net/phpbb3/ima ... e6.gif/img]
