Carnival day

Well this family I'm in gets weirder by the minute. Dad's the carnival queen in the local fete today. Didn't recognise him at first but it certainly smelled like him so I guess that's okay. Mum was going to go in the procession as an umpah lumpah (I know don't ask) but decided she didn't want to leave me so says she will leave it another year.
Had a bit of a mad half hour the other night whilst mum and dad watched TV. Well I didn't know dads wellies were expensive neoprene ones and his gardening boots needed the mud getting off them, just a pity the leather upper wasn't stronger, that way they wouldn't have fell to pieces.
Went for a long walk to another local pub that dad's band is playing at, you've guessed it, another bridge and there was no way I was going over this one either. Dad says I owe him big time as he was really looking forward to his glass of beer.
I've found another nice shady spot, it did have lots of ferns till I made it my special place.
By for now Tasmin
