Long Term Foster Dogs

Whilst we try to find a permanent forever home for every dog that comes to us, there are times when we feel we need to place a dog in long term foster care.

This is normally because the dog has a medical condition or needs special care with recurrent costs which are likely to prevent a permanent home being found.

In such cases, a foster carer takes on the day to day care of the dog but the the rescue pays the veterinary and medicines for the dog - and sometimes if the dog needs special food, we also assist with that.

Details of the dogs we currently have in long term foster will be added to this section.

Perhaps you are not in the position to adopt a dog at the moment but would like to help the rescue? If you you could help by making a small monthly donation towards one of our supported dogs.
