Another set back for little miss Pip

Hello everyone,
As you can read in former posts, Pip has developed a very big lump on her right hock. This has grown rapidly over the last few weeks, and the long and short of it is that it needs to be removed. Pip is at the vets today having the surgery and we will wait to get the results to see what is going on. The rest of her skin is not that good - there are some encouraging signs with some lumps/sores gradually healing but she has lots of other lumps and bumps appearing all the time. This is concerning but I'm trying hard to stay positive and hopeful for her - she sure deserves a break. I would like nothing more for her 4th birthday at the end of November to be celebrating signs of recovery. She is the most endearing sweet and cheeky little girl. Thanks for all the support.

Buckets of positive and healing thoughts coming to the lovely Pip from here. Sometimes things seem so unfair as if this poor girl hasn't had enough to deal with I have everything crossed that the vets will come up with a solution for Pip's latest problem. Big, big hugs for Pip from me and thank you Debs for your commitment to Pip and for loving this very special girl.

Joan and George x

Poor little Pip bless her, I hope her op went well she has been through the mill and deserves a break it is so unfair. Hopefully she is home with you now where she belongs I can't believe the severe reaction she has had to the treatment, makes you realise that some of this stuff the vets dish out is pretty nasty.

Sending lots of healing thoughts and gentle hugs for little Pip.

Poor Pip, she must be a brave girl the way she copes with all this. I hope her op went OK and that she home with you now and that she recovers from it well enough. Gentle hugs for her.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support. Pip is currently sporting a lilac bandage with purple spots, on the offending foot/leg! She seems quite comfortable now, snuggled up and fast asleep - she has had some homeopathic remedies to aid healing and recovery from the anaesthetic that have seemed to help her settle. Back to vets for wound check Thurs & then wait for results and take it from there. I'll keep you posted.
