Pippi soldiers on....

Post by Debsalabradora1 »

Hi, Just a quick update about Pip and her progress. We were back at the homeopathic vet last Friday. It was quite encouraging in all. Pip is very well in herself - full of energy and remains very affectionate. Her appearance is not so great, although she is developing a really good coat. She still has lumps and sores on her face, along with lumps on her body - these seem to be itchy and she does scratch them but, although it's taking some time, they do seem to be healing and the number of new lumps appearing does seem to be reducing. The homeopathic vet believes that this is a good sign in that she is responding to the treatment and the hope is that in time it will settle down.
The area on her hock where the big cancerous lump was removed has healed really well and although the appearance of the other lumps has been a concern, they do seem to be different. We will be back at the homeopathic vets again 22nd January.
Enjoy the festive season everyone and thanks again to all wonderful rescue supporters who help lovely Pip and other labs that need help too.
Debs, Millie and Poppy (and Pippi).xx

So pleased that dear Pippi (I like that!) is making some progress, even if they are baby steps. The news that she is getting a decent winter coat is especially promising :1939:

Pip is an extra-special girl and I have really enjoyed reading your lovely updates that demonstrate her indomitable spirit :love2:

Hoping you all have a wonderful Christmas too Deb xx
