We let our beautiful, loyal, funny, cheeky, gorgeous girl go on Friday I am truly heartbroken that we have reached the end of our journey together and I honestly don't think I will ever get over losing her. Sadly hasn't been well these last couple of months and since Christmas was deteriorating day by day so we had to make the dreaded decision. She died peacefully at home with everyone around her.

Run free like you used to sweetheart you are pain free now, love you forever, I am so so sorry I had to let you go

We have lost so many of our beloved dogs in the past 12 months.

I am so very sorry to read you have had to say goodbye to your beautiful Maggie. I know you have said recently she hasn't been well but I also know it won't have made that decision any easier, even though you know it was the right thing to do it is the hardest thing you ever have to do, saying goodbye to your precious girl.

All of those feelings of loss, emptiness, and heaviness in your broken heart are because you loved Maggie so much. It has always been clear to me from your postings that you have always given your girls the best of care with so much love, and I am sure Maggie paid you back a thousand times over with all the love she could show you.

Maggie was your precious girl, she will be watching over you from the bridge, willing those tears to stop falling. I sincerely hope that all of the special memories she left you with will one day help you smile again, I know that they will live on in your heart forever.
