We (Gill and Andy) had our first Labrador from the Rescue back in 2001, sadly he left us in 2013 aged sixteen, leaving a very large hole in our lives. We're now ready to have another and we're very much looking forward to meeting a new family member when he or she comes along. we've really enjoyed reading all the posts and look to getting more involved as we go along.

Hi and welcome to the site!
I'm glad that you feel ready to find a new companion after the loss of your boy - he obviously enjoyed a lovely life with you, what a good age he was!
Hope a new friend soon finds you,
Des

Hi and welcome from me and mine

We are very sorry for your loss, what an amazing age and what wonderful memories he will have given you as a gift, locked in your hearts forever.

We have had 7 rescue labs over the years, we now have Sally (aged 7) who we have had for 3 years and we adopted Mason 12 weeks ago he was 3 and has had his 4th birthday during that time.

One thing I know is that you never forget the loss of your special lab but welcoming another eases the pain and makes you smile again. We wish you well for 2018 and hopefully you enjoying lab cuddles once again.

Love Michelle, Sally and Mason XXX
