Jakes a poorly boy.

Post by billybluemoor »

Unfortunately I can't give you a glowing report....

Jake is a poorly boy and has been sick several times since we brought him home. Today has been the worst. Even on 4 small feeds a day he is not able to keep it down.
I have seen this before in elderly dogs, and indeed both Jet and Bella went down like this.
I'm going to get an urgent appointment and take him to the Vets in the morning and although I remain optimistic things aren't looking good for the old boy.
Experience tells me that the Vets next course of action will probably be to take a full blood test to provide further information.
I'll keep everyone informed as soon as I have any more news.

Please keep everything crossed for Jake, he really is a lovely old chap !
He even cries at the back door to go out to be sick !!!

Oh dear. Not a good start then. Fingers crossed its just teething troubles. Poor soul is probably confused and in shock with all the stuff he's had to deal with.

Gentle hugs to Jake from all of us here. Good luck at the vets too.

Whatever it takes, Martin I know you and Kathryn will go that extra mile or more for Jake.

Love

This is sad news I hope it is just the general upset, he has been through a lot these past few days. Sending Jake a great big healing hug and lots of lots of healing thoughts.
