Jake is much better !

Post by billybluemoor » 16 Dec 2008, 14:45

Jakes update.

You'll be pleased to hear that Jake is much better today !

He's keeping his food down and has relaxed a lot, so I'm pleased to say I can phone the Vet tomorrow with a good progress report.
We've been busy sorting out the toy box today, which is a good sign, and great fun !
He's also been sleeping right through the night in his own bed, although I was awakened by a big wet brown nose grunting and nosing at the quilt this morning !!!
Jake is a very intelligent dog and a quick learner, he's gradually learning the household routine and seems to be getting on better with Lady.
Lady is a gentle old soul who is disadvantaged by being deaf and is sometimes startled by Jake, and Billy, well.. nothing bothers him much at all, he's a very tolerant boy who's communicating grunts are often mistaken for growling.
The 'babygate' has had to be re-installed to avoid the kitchen being carpeted by Labradors ( again ) :santa12
.
Here's one I took this morning ! :4876

That is good news Martin. I can't see the picture as our security system on the computers at work won't let me so I'll peek tonight!

That is such good news Martin. I suppose it takes time for dogs to adjust to new members of the family. He is looking better too today! Excellent news. :4620: :4620: :4620:
