Thank you. He is a character and gives us all so many laughs. I am considering getting him a mate but not decided yet. I would love half a dozen of them !!! When my old Lab freind passed away a few years agoi never thought I would get over him but Brandy has filled that space and I love him as much. Two completely different characters though .

Brandy you are a lovely lucky boy by the sound of things :love2:
We were much the same as you Gill when we lost our old girl aged 17yrs, never thought we would have another, but 4 months later we had adopted Meg and then 10 months after that Lilly, and so different all of them in every way, but love them all the same :love5:

So pleased you posted

Hi Gill
I am thinking seriously about another but am concerened Brandy may not like it after having been centre of attention for 2yrs. I have been offered a 1 year old bitch but my concern is she may be too young for him as he loves his rest in the day.

Ideally another older lab but again which sex i am not sure , some say dont put dogs together ,, I keep looking at the adoption page and I want them all !!

Thank you for your post .

Hi Gill

Lovely update on Brandy, he looks handsome :love2: :love2:

We have 3 lovely MKF labs - The Three Musketeers - and life is never dull but we wouldn't have it any other way. We have 2 girls and 1 boy but Amanda, my friend, has 3 boys, one of them is from MKF, and they all get on like a house on fire. There are no firm rules whether girl, boy, 2 girls or 2 boys etc, it really depends on the dog itself and how it mixes and of course it depends on what Brandy is comfortable with. Glenys would be best to advise.

Good luck

Thank you Michelle
Yes he is a handsome boy but even at 9 yrs still a little monkey !!! :2379:
He loves all dogs usually, but he gets a little excited with the ladies especially his own breed!!

I just think it would be nice for him (and me) as he is getting older to have a companion. We have many labs in our neighbouhood and most are in two's and three's.

Probably best to find a possible mate, let them meet see how it goes.

Hi Gill

I kow the feeling - Barney is 8 and is never still - people think he is much younger than he actually is. I think it would be lovely for Brandy to have a friend and for you too. People often ask me how I cope with 3 dogs, but I say why have only one when we can give a loving home to 3 - and they all get on so well - we are very lucky to have them :love2: :love2:

Good luck with finding another furry friend
