First update on Sam

Post by labradorlover »

Yesterday i chose my new forever mum & dad :1971: and it was love at first sight with mum but oh dad was so tall I was a little scared but when he sat down I decided he was great to :1966:.
We all went for a walk and play in the field where I found out that dad being so tall is just great as I am also tall when i stand on my back legs and he gives me great cuddles :bighug: ..
I traveled home in the back of the car not quite sure what was happening but mum sat in the back with me just to reassure me talking to me which made me feel much better and I even went to sleep for a little bit :snooze: Mum was not so happy as she hates traveling in the back :blue: but she knew that I needed her.
I went for a little walk when we got home before we went into the house and I was such a good boy :1966: I looked around the house with the toy bone in my mouth that I stole from Gaynor yard :2009: sorry.
We all went for a nice long walk which i really enjoyed as there are lots of big puddles for me to go through :2379: .When we got home I had another wander around before deciding that it was time for a nap as i have had quite a strange day with lots of new things happening to me. When i woke up both mum and dad were sat smiling at me and ready to give me a big fuss which I love.
There are pictures around the house of another black lab who looks so happy, I know i am also going to be that happy in my forever home :1951: :1951:
Mum took photos of me but as yet not worked out how to put them on but she says she will :2009:

Sorry have to go now as i am off out for a walk across the fields Sam

Great update!

Once you get the hang of posting photos ( :1968: ) you'll be well away. It's tricky at first, but fine once you know how.

Hi Sam
Lovely update; I'm so pleased to hear how well you are settling into your lovely new forever home.
I was lucky enough to meet you at MKF yesterday (and had plenty of chance to make a fuss of you as your new Mummy was buying up half the shop :1966: )
As labs go, you could definitely be described as tall, dark and handsome! I just know you will continue to settle well and can't wait to see the piccies :1972:
