scoobys new forever home

Post by eamonnmoore »

we collected scooby from mkf yesterday after his previous owners had to part with him due to ill health.he is a credit to them for he is a lovely lively very well mannered polite boy.we had forgotten what it,s like owning and caring for a young dog and after a hectic day yesterday we all slept soundly last night.he has been a busy lad again today meeting all the local pooches and owners and we left him alone in the kitchen for a couple of hours [and he seems ok with it ]while we went shopping.we are hoping he is past the chewing stage but he seems hell bent on destroying all his toys and balls ,feedback and advice very welcome.pics to follow . Oh bless.. the first few days are the most difficult.. for both of you. I always really feel for a re-homed dog and wonder what is going on in their little minds and hearts :love2:
I'm sure Scooby will settle quickly and adjust to your way of life.. labs have an uncanny knack of doing that!
Was a bit disappointed not to see accompanying photos :1966: I did catch a fleeting glimpse of your lovely boy for the 2 minutes he was at mkf :1966: but am really looking forward to seeing Scooby in his forever home :P
Congratulations on the adoption by the way :1972:

A little update, after 2 hectic days ,wednesday was much calmer as scoobs adjusted to his surroundings, today more family members turned up to meet him and he had them eating out of the palm of his paw,he,s quickly realised that life here is a bit different and has been as good as gold all day :1958:
