Shiva (one of Maggie's pups)

Post by Simbasmum »

Shiva finally had his castration last week - only one testes had dropped, so the vet had said he would need one anyway; but with all our other problems, we just hadn't had chance to get it done until now. Simba (his older bro LOVES (and I mean adores) going to the vet and so Shiva takes his cue from him. The vet says he has a lot of respect - he mirrors Simba's behaviour!
Anyway, off he went and i told Simba we'd be back later to collect him. They weren't sure where the other teste was and said they might have to cut twice; however, the vet managed to fish it out and in the end he had a straight forward castration; but I could hear him on the phone when I phoned. When we chose him, he gave us a right tale and I could hear him in the background. We have put the house back on the market (our sale fell through) and so couldn't pick him up until 3pm. When we got there all you could hear was Shiva "I want my bro, I want to go hoooommmeee" constantly. The nurse asked if she should bring him up and we thought for the sake of everyone's eardrums that was the safest option! Simba licked him and told him off for crying!
Anyway, this is him

When one door closes another door ALWAYS opens- and we may never know what the grand plan is, but believe me, the universe will give you everything you deserve if you just have faith. Karma is a beautiful thing.
