Marley
Hi just a brief update on Marley.
We adopted Marley just over two weeks ago and he has settled in fantastically well. He is very sociable and keeps an eye/paw out for whoever leaves the room or garden.
We can't believe what a chilled hound he is in the house
Still a bit of a different story when we're out walking. Just as we think we have cracked walking nicely on the lead, Marley spots some-one (human or dog) he just needs to say hello to . Leaving us struggling to hold on to the lead. Lead walking is still work in progress!!
We've have joined our local Dog training society and have been to two classes already; he's definitely the most sociable dog in his class!! :)
We have great fun chasing ball in the garden. We took Marley to the beach earlier this week. He settled so well in the car that we have booked a cottage on the Pembrokeshire coast so we can have daily walks on the beach, and hopefully some swims if it's warm enough.
He is such a big lad it's easy to forget that at 14 months he's still a pup and does get tired quicker than you'd think. It's lovely watching him chase in his dreams.
Our home was feeling very empty after the death of our 15 year old Lab Murray.
We’re very happy to be sharing our home with Marley (luckily he has forgiven me for calling him Murray).
Huge thanks to you all at Labrador rescue

I'll attach some photos once I've figured out how to do this

Re: Marley
Great update, it sounds as though Marley has well & truly landed on all 4 paws.
He still looks quite puppy like & I'm sure he will mellow (Perhaps by the time he's sixish. )

Re: Marley
He's lovely so glad he has settled well, good luck at the training classes. My Millie is a work in progress although I must admit since she has had a canny collar on her lead walking is much improved.
Be happy Marley you certainly look it
