Hi Bess,
well you're now a very lovely 'little lady' so we think the Arnside air is suiting you very well indeed.
And Bess, don't you worry about the tail problem, just let it wag away all day! :2379:

Have a great life with Harold & Pat :love4: keep in touch.....

Another update:

Hi Glenys,

Just had to tell you this! On Sunday Bess ran for the first time. She ran to Harold who was waiting at the gate when we returned from a walk tail wagging all the time.

Monday Harold took her to meet the two lab girls we had been walking and after introductions she ran round the garden a few times with them before sitting back down at Harold's side.

We are like parents whose child has just taken its first steps. Insn't this great.

Pat and Harold

Hi Glenys,

Harold and Pat took me to Anglesey this week to stay in a hotel.
We went to our room in this funny thing that moves while we stand still, they call it a lift and I behaved really well and was told how pretty and how well behaved I was by everyone I met.

I got to sleep in the same room as them and never moved off my bed all night, wish I could say the same for them , what with going to the loo and snoring its a wonder I got any sleep.
Mornings were great, every day they went off for a while and after a short time came back with a sausage for me,such luxioury still "I'm worth it" they constantly remind me.

They took me to a lovely sandy beach where Harold threw stones in the sea and I went in after them. Any way the great news is that I can swim and love it. Harold and Pat were hugging each other and laughing though I don't know what all the fuss was about it's only what labradors do after all.I'll send you some pictures of my adventures soon.

Love Bess

What fabulous updates - tear jerking they are and so glad she has a wonderful home now and can learn to be a dog instead of a breeding machine. Big hug Bess :bighug:
