Hi one and all.

I thought it was time to put an 'official' update on the little fellah - complete with some photos.
Before we begin though, Blakey has now cast aside the name of Mr Bumpy - as he is no longer with bump! Yes indeed, it's gone. He had to be neutered anyway, and on the vets advice, the cyst on his head was removed at the same time. He spent the day at the vets last Friday, and sailed through it all with flying colours, and is back in A1 condition. He's a bit bald on the head - but the fur will soon grow back....and it will be lovely for everyone to be able to stroke his wee head without worrying about the bump! (It did rather get in the way).
As for settling down - we love him to bits, and and he loves us to bits, in a nutshell.


To continue : Blakey decided that because he isn't looking his usual handsome self, due to the baldy bit on the head he doesn't want any photos put on the site that will cause him undue embarrassment - so you will see in the following photos that we have honoured his wish, and preserved his dignity

Good idea having the bump done at the same time. It makes sense. the photos are really good ,very funny in the hat. Preserved his dignity!! I think not

The black one that he wasn't keen on was from Debenhams - the grey/black one that he quite liked, was from 'Craghoppers' !! An outdoor lad you see!!

Fantastic update! Love Blakeys posh coat. I must admit he seems a little spoilt, but thats something he really deserves! We can tell you are rather smitten Marge.

cheers for doing so well for him a great forever home loved and he seems to like it there to ,not to sure hats suit him maybe try a beefeater hat?

Well, it's his very doting Daddy who insists on the coat! He deserves a bit of spoiling! It hasn't changed him a jot!!

Hoping to pop to rescue sometime very soon as we have a heap of goodies to bring. I daresay Blakey will enjoy a car ride over to pay a visit to his old haunt.
