Happy Gotcha Day Roddy (Rodney)

A year ago this weekend, I went on an adventure with my mum. We set of early on Saturday morning, drove many miles through a mixed bag of weather (including hail and snow) and finally ended up in a lane in Eccleston, near Chorley. We had come to visit a little interloper who had snuck into MKF from LAW. He looked like a lab, acted like a lab, but had little legs like a corgi. That day we met Glenys and Sam and went home not 2, but 3 and so little Roddy came into our lives. He is a very special boy who totally wins over everyone he meets with his huge personalty and friendly nature. In the last year he has brought much joy to mum and a new lease of life to his big sister Sasha.
It is with heavy heart tonight with the news of Tasha that I write this, yet without the amazing work carried out by these rescue organisations the lovely Tasha might never have found out what it is to be loved and our lives would never have been enriched by Roddy and so I'd like to share a few photos.

Roddy is currently on holiday with us on the west coast of Scotland and I will no doubt get many more photos to go with the dozens I already have.

Happy gotcha day, lovely wee man :1971:

:1951: Happy Gotcha Day Roddy, aka, Rodney :1951:

To the handsome boy who came to our doors and we could not stop hugging him. Dumped on the street, unwanted and lost.
Who could not love such a wonderful boy. I'm so glad that your little feet made it to Glenys' door and on to a wonderful home. Everybody remembers those cute little short legs under the labby body. :1971: . Thank you so much for the update, us Irish Girls always enjoy hearing about Roddy and look forward to more updates. Please give him a great big hug from all at LAW. :1971:

Enjoy your Gotcha Day Roddy xxx

The day he arrived at our door.

Happy Gotcha Day Rodney, even on the day you turned up at LAW you still looked happy, perhaps you knew your new life would begin from that day on.

He looks so happy, Arlyn, he's a credit to you.
