Got this today from Lewis...sounds like he is really happy...
Hi Aunty Kathryn!
Its been a hectic few days so I thought I would drop you a line to let you know how I'm getting on!
I was really excited when Dad came to collect me on Sunday, I had no idea where I was going but we had a great journey back to my new home, I even got a bonio en route!
I had a great first night, I felt a bit unsettled not knowing exactly where I was or if I was staying but they ain't getting me out of here now, I'm having a great time! We go to the moor early every morning, lots of lovely smells up there and rabbits! I'm going to have to grow my legs because they're too fast for me as well!
Yesterday we had a very busy day, we went to town to the market and then we went to the pet shop and I got a brand new red collar and lead and my own name disc in the shape of a bone, I had a great time in there! there were all these boxes of treats sitting on the floor, I thought it was self service so nicked a pigs ear! the lady was lovely and said I could have it as a freebie! phew! would hate to get done for shop lifting within the first few days!
Then we had a coffee in town, well, I had some water and then we went home and Carl the vet came round. He gave me a good old feel over and said I was a lovely chap - well! why wouldn't he! he gave me a worming tablet called Drontal and left the Dads a sachet of liquid for the back of my neck, talk about a make over! In the afternoon I had a lovely bath and a big brush, I also had my ears cleaned, I was knackered!! After Emmerdale and supper, I fell into my bed and had the loveliest of dreams.
I'm really happy Aunty Kathryn, please know that I will always be grateful for the love and care you showed me when I was in rescue, please also say Hi to Aunty Carol and Glenys! Well I had better close as I've just spotted "KFC", she's the oldest hen, she's strolling up the drive, I'm meeting her for a chat at 11 - she's going to tell me all about laying eggs.
Take care and thanks again....
lots of love
