Labrador Rescue

Well Miss Poppy-puppy is now 17 weeks old and is totally and utterly adorable and a proper little rascal - so much fun! She is growing like mad, we can still pick her up and she loves a snooze on our laps but I think she will soon be to big to pick up! Her and Barney adore each other and have such a great time together. We love her to bits, she has the most fantastic nature, she is very loving, happy and loves her cuddles. She is quick to learn, bright as a button really, she is coming along really well with training. She loves our cats and follows them around and they are very tolerant of her.

She has already had her first swim a couple of weeks ago in the little river/stream in the bluebell woods at Marbury, she is a real waterbaby. She loves nothing more than for us to "water" her when using the watering can in the garden, she bounces in delight under the water, she loves the hosepipe too whereas Barney hates it (although he loves to swim). She is a comical little character. She is mad about brooms and brushes and goes wild for chasing them, which makes brushing down the patio an interesting experience!

We still cannot believe how lucky we are to have two such beautiful dogs from MKF, in our opinion she is a stunning little pup, so bonny and bright eyed. She has the little mismarks up her inner legs and the teeniest bit if you look closely above her eyes and a little bit around her bottom, they are golden brindling and very pretty. I think she looks very much like her beautiful mum Grayse.

Have had problems trying to edit the posts to add captions to the pics. The above with the leaf was taken yesterday and is one of our favourites. A couple were taken at Easter in my parents in law's garden. The rest are from the past week. And one of my handsome boy Barney, he can't have Poppy getting all the attention !

What a very stunning and beautiful girl Poppy is becoming, can not believe how big she is now, and still lots more growing to do. Barney and Poppy look so good together, love the pictures especially the ones with both Barney and Poppy lying together. Hopefully see you soon and Katie won`t be as frightened of Poppy now that she is bigger.

Hi , lovely photos sis my mum tells me we look very much alike but I have a few more blonde marks than you , my favourite plaything is also the yard brush .My mum took me to new puppy class which is great and I am star pupil , hope to send more photos soon . I think we are very lucky we have such lovely homes not like that poor Henry photos of him upset us. Hope to see you soon love big brother George
