Hi Sue lovely update so pleased Georgie has settled in well...good luck on the cat chasing side we've had Rosie for nearly 12 months now and she still doesn't like cats she can smell them a mile away and if you're not careful she'll have you through the bushes we're working on having a treat in hand ready if we see one..seems to be working..if you see one that is

Re: Georgie
Lovely that Georgie girl has settled so well with you
Our last lab was a cat chaser and I have to confess that before we knew better, we had encouraged it in the early days so that she would chase the pesky cats out of the garden of a new house (that were using it as a public convenience ) Of course this translated into chasing at other times and we could never really break the habit 100%. Ah well, you live and learn..
Would love to see photos of Georgie at some point..

Re: Georgie
Glad Georgie has settled in well. As for chasing cats, I'm lucky, Molly and Scooby lived with our Kenwood so, accepted cats as an every day occurence. Sadly, Kenwood is no longer with us, but her memory lingers on.

Re: Georgie
I've already tried distracting her with a titbit and it does work up to a point. The real art is spotting the cat or squirrel before she does and yes I have very nearly landed in a bush!!!!
I will post some photos in the very near future.
