Stella ; our wonderful new labrador

Post by jansterb »

Image

Here is Stella ! ( formally Bella ) we adopted her from the rescue on Tuesday . She is 6 months old and a bundle of joy ! After losing Sabbath our home was so empty , she is a breath of fresh air and loved so very much .
A few " accidents " we are all learning together !!!
We changed her name as our friends one year old golden lab that Stella sees and plays with is also called Bella and that was just rather confusing !!
More pictures to follow !!!

Congratulations! :beerandwhistle: :beerandwhistle:
Stella is a blonde beauty :love5:
Wishing you all many years of happiness together xx

The house-training will come really quickly with a consistent routine. We had the same issue with our last rescue Lab and it was sorted within a week

Bought her lots of toys and had loads of cuddles , she's very affectionate and so different to sabbath , enjoying the chaos !! Haha ! :1947:

Janet,

Stella looks a dream. I am sure she is going to have many fun filled and loved years with you all. :love2:

Sabbath will be looking down on you all so pleased that you have given another homeless dog a home.

We homed Balee 3 weeks after we lost Jake. Like you the home was not home without a 4 legged friend.

They do not take the place of our old friends we never forget them, we just move on and help another Pal who move in and make their own place. :love5:

:1972: Congratulations, so pleased for you Janet.
Stella (love her name) looks a real beauty and I'm sure she will bring you a lot of joy and help you all to smile again.
Now, I got that Sabbath was so called because he was black; guessing Stella is named for the meaning 'star' and not the blond beer Artois :1968: :1968:

Oh Janet I am so happy for you :1972:
I cried with you when you lost Sabbath and now I couldn't be happier that beautiful Stella has come along to mend your broken hearts. Sabbath would be very proud of you for giving another needy Lab a wonderful new home.
I hope you have many happy years with Stella and look forward to hearing of your adventures with her.

I can't tell you how pleased I was to read that you've adopted the beautiful Stella!!

She's sounds amazing and just the tonic for mending those broken hearts. At 6 months she still very much a pup but with your help she will soon learn what's right and what's not :1951:

It's so different having a youngster in the house after an 'oldie' and I speak from experience as Murphy came to us at 6 months old to mend our broken hearts from the loss of a 12 year old - he's done a sterling job and we love him to bits :love2:

Enjoy every minute with your new girl and lots of photos please

She is most deintely not named Stella after the beer ! She's our little star and I like to think sabbath is a shinning star looking down on us , so thename seemed just the ticket !
She's certainly full on but and is keeping us on our toes ! Wouldn't have it any other way ! Lol :1951:

So pleased for you Janet. I'm sure Sabbath would approve of the lovely lady Stella.

Just one question................do you think she will ever grow into those ears? :1967:
