JoanG wrote:Lovely photos as usual, Andrew, Peppy looks sooo happy in the sunshine, especially in the muddy water. Her coat is so wavey it really does look like ripples all down her back. Does she shed a lot, her coat looks very thick my niece's yellow lab had similar hair and she sheds another Labrador every day, I was amazed at the amount of hair that came off her and can't believe she hasn't gone bald over the years
I love the photo of Peppy fast asleep she looks so peaceful
Does she shed a lot ? I'll say she does ! When she has her nightly brush I don't seem to get much hair on the brush, probably because the grey hearthrug is rapidly turning cream but this link should explain - https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/516647388483665769/
Henry had a wavy back too, with similar results but it's something I don't really notice any more and Peppy is such a sweetie which more than makes up for a few million hairs and muddy spots in the kitchen.

Lots of people probably think a twelve year old lab spends all day doing this.......
.......but Peppy is just as likely to do this
Smiles for the camera with friend Ruby........
.....until there's a chance of treats.
Great photos Andrew, the girls both look really happy, they really are a stunning pair. I can see what you mean about her love of dirty water and at 12 years young she can show her young friend how to get up to mischief with no problem
Looking forward to your next post I enjoy reading about Peppy's antics
Just catching up Andrew all the pictures are beautiful we love them.
I am pleased other people have dirty dogs at the end of a walk it is an everyday event here X 4 .
for peppy

IF YOU GO DOWN TO THE WOODS TODAY......
HAVE YOU BROUGHT THE PICNIC DAD ?
Another busy day.......
sometimes Peppy has a woof in the night, the last occasion obviously when my homebrew started fermenting, as the following morning Peppy came out of the room as if to warn me.....
Andrew, I love the photo of Peppy in the woods what a lovely place to walk. In the other photo are you sure she hadn't had a drop of your home brew she looks dead to the world
Andrew & Peppy wonderful photos as usual, and beautiful scenery, we are really thrilled that all is going so well for both of you.
Enjoy
