malcolm and e mails

hi everyone and particularly Liz 5353 who has e mailed me

things have not been to good round here lately and all my e mails go through malcolms phone so i am limited to what i can say

Malcolms cancer has got into his back/spine and he is now on palliative care after 9 years and numerous operations the last one in april to prevent him being paralized the pain had got to the point where he couldnt cope he has been referred to the specialist pain management team at our local hospice who have been working with him things got really bad last week and he went to hospice as a inpatient but they have changed and tweeked his medication and he is feeling well again today he is being assessed for a special wheelchair the ones they just hand out dont fit him the occupatioal therapists have been to our home and suggested some changes and i am expecting him home next week

i will come on here when i can but as you will imagine i dont get much free time

So very sorry to read this and hope Malcolm's medication can be tweaked to keep him comfortable, it must be an awful time for you and will keep you both in our prayers and thoughts.

I was sorry to read your post. I hope the hospice can sort some things out for you so that Malcolm can come home next week as planned. I hope you manage to take care of yourself a little also. Will be thinking of you both.

I have missed you on here and was hoping and praying that all was okay.

I am so very sorry to learn of the difficult time you and Malcolm are having. I just hope that the situation can be managed and maintained for both your sake.

Anne I'm sorry to read your post and hope that Malcolm is much more comfortable with the input from the hospice team.

Big hugs Anne. :bighug: We're all here for you, even if you can't post very often. So sorry to read about Malcolm, and, as the others have said, I hope he can be made comfortable.

Anne, I'm so sorry to read about Malcolm and sincerely hope the experts can make him even more comfortable so that he can come back home. I also hope they can get the wheelchair sorted quickly that would be much better for him. This is such a difficult time for you and you are both very much in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself too Anne :love3:
