Hi Dave and Family here,
Update on Meg. We have had meg a few weeks now and she has settled in extremely well and we love her to bits. She has had all her Jabs and a thorough going over at the vets and now we took her down this morning to be speyed. Alfies going daft running round the house looking for her lol. Can't help but worry a bit and can't wait to go and pick her up.

its always a worry when they have to have an op, I'm sure she'll be fine, just think how much you can pamper her when she gets home. alfie will be really happy to see her back

A worry I know but she will be fine. Our Meg who is a real softy felt really sorry for herself when she was done and slept a lot but Maisie the whirling dervish - well that's another story!!!

We struggled to keep her quiet and was afraid she would burst het stitches!!! Anyway all ended fine.

Give her a cuddle from us.

Meg will be fine. It is always a worry when are "BABIES" are at the vets.

When I picked our dog up from the vets after being castrated, he was wobbly on his legs and his eyes were all puffy and I felt really guilty - slept with him on the front room floor - it took a couple of days but then he was back to his usual self

I know spaying is a bigger operation but the last one we had spayed was unbelievable, it was like she hadnt had an operation

Just keep her quiet for a while and spoil her - she will be back on her feet in no time

Same message. The dogs always suffer far less than we think they are going too. Henny was as right as rain in no time.

We got Meg back yesterday teatime, she seems fine now. she has lost her appetite and is a bit groggy still But apart from that she seems ok. thanks for your thoughts. Dave and family.

Pleased to hear that Meg is home. The difficulty after a couple of days will be to stop her running round too much!

Sandy had a bit of arough time when she was spayed,the anaesthetic really upset her system,however to see her know she is a picture of health.She is asleep othe bed and snoring, we exhausted each other at the beach to-day.Lots of love to meg from Sandy.

Pleased all went well. Animals always amaze me how quickly they heal, for example take the same operation on a human and they can't move for 6-8 weeks

Wonder if it is all in the mind or whether animals just heal better than us?
