Dear Mum
When Jesus sent me down to earth To show the world just what I’m worth
He said go and find a Mum and Dad give them the best love they ever had
But when I call you back to me, you must come back immediately!
Well then he called, too soon I know, but I knew I had to go
He needed special help you see, he knew he could depend on me.
My job is to wait at heavens gate, to welcome all inside
One day I know I will see you there standing with both arms open wide
I will run so fast to get to you to do all the things we used to do.
Be patient Mum and don’t you cry,
It makes me sad to hear you sigh.
Even though I had to go, remember please I love you so.
Time stands still in heaven, so when you knock upon that door
I will be just like you remember me
A Handsome dog aged four.
