Hi Sue

Don't know how, but am only just catching up with Kizzy. :1966:

Have just watched your Eric the worm video. Haven't laughed so much in ages. Brilliant :1954:

She's gorgeous by the way...looking forward to lots more video's. Just noticed you're in Stockport too. We live in Hazel Grove.

:1968: :1968: :1968: :1968: Love the video Sue, i've not laughed so much since last Saturday reading everyone's embarrassing posts on 'would you shop in your pj's'. Loved the choice of music too - absolutely brilliant! Kizzy has soon forgotten about her op and is coming on in leaps and bounds you must be having so much fun, apart from the muddy towels etc.

Glad you stuck to your guns and stopped her from 'slobbing out' on the settee!!!! But with such a gorgeous face like hers how could you resist?!! :1966: :1966: :1966:

Spent a long time on 'New Members' with my 'Can't Wait' thread. Then, along came Kizzy....

She and I have been together for just over a month now, on 'Rehomed Feedback', so I think it's time we moved onto 'Pets' Gallery' as we've decided this is our 'forever home' for both of us.

Shall keep you up to date with developments on training, photos and videos.

She's a sweetheart...... :love2:

Just returned from the vet's where Kizzy had her 2nd vaccs, op scar inspected and weight checked. Everything in order but still need to keep an eye on her weight. We're just getting back into the long walks after her op so hopefully things will balance out. Mr Locke said a couple of pigs ears a week are ok (thank goodness for that said kizzy) (she only has one anyway) but only 1 or 2 denta stix- good for the teeth :thumbright: but not the waistline :1962:

She loves it at the vet's. She was especially good with the cats in their cages. Now I want to introduce her to cows, ducks, chickens and sheep in due course.

She loves paddling in water, but won't go further than her shoulder- don't think she's actually swum before, so can't wait till the weather gets warmer and the river goes down to a safer level, then the fun will begin....It will be interesting to see if Grayse, Rose and Fudge are the same.

Everyone who meets her falls in love. They can't believe the wonderful temperament she has. So loving, friendly and well-behaved (well, most of the time :1966: ).

Just one word of advice to owners of black labradors..........always switch on the light before walking from the kitchen to dining room with a bowl of soup....I leave it to your imagination...... :1967: :1968:

Loved the Pictures of Kizzie with the horse. :1973: The video of Kizzie and Eric was very funny. What fun she was having :1968:

I do love to see the Labs relaxing.
Back home Kizzy was sponged down and towelled dry (5th towel this week!), had her tea and is now stretched out on the settee that she's not allowed on
Now I'm going to have a shower, get my tea, get a beer and hope that she'll make room for me on the settee
I think Kizzy is getting you trained nicely :1967:

Kizzy loves water and is getting braver by the day........Well, does it really matter which stick I bring back????

Image

She's happy to put her head under....

Image

She prefers big sticks to little sticks...

Image

Still some way to go before she starts swimming. This is the deepest she dare go up to now....

:hello1: :hello1: :hello1: Well done Kizzy! Bless her she is gaining confidence isn't she? Loved the videos. She'll soon be leaping in water I bet. Hope you had your chain saw with you to chop up the tree, maybe she was thinking of stoking the fire for you later to stretch out in front of.
