Anna's updates are absolutely priceless they make me laugh so much!
I really think she should contact a publisher and send them a diary of her antics, i'm sure they would get printed - hilarious!
She sounds vey happy too

Hi Everyone,
Well, I have just had the BEST weekend! Mum took us on holiday way down south to the South Downs and we stayed with some family. THe best of it was that her two cousins aged 10 and 11 are football mad and also want a dog but haven't got one so I played football with them for nearly two whole days! Mum briefed the boys that I had to be exhausted by the end of the weekend but hey, you can't ignore it when somebody kicks a football for you so I was always ready for more. Mum said the boys had failed miserably in their mission - hah!
We did take some time out of football to cram 9 humans and 3 canines in a big truck thing called a Land Rover. My brothers and I squashed in the back with 4 humans and I made sure I was well away from the Hairy One and his Teeth - I need all the blood I have for my strenuous sporting activities. We got out at the top and raced round in the mist and rain - I ran round with my new footballing friends and put up a pheasant or two - Mum was very pleased.
The drag hunt came past while we were out and Mum bundled me back in the Landrover very quickly as she said she didn't want me joining the hunt. I thought it looked rather fun and that Mum was a bit of a spoilsport to not let me. On the way back down, I saw some large strange woolly creatures - I got dead excited and tried to climb through the window but forgot that it was shut - duh! Mum was very disapproving about this (more spoilsport evidence) and said she might have to long line me round sheep (as they seem to be called) when we get home. I don't know what long lining is but if it means that I can play with those woolly things, I'm up for it!
The next day Mum took me running on the Downs with Big Black Brother. We had to run up a nearly vertical slope to the top. Mum said we had ascended 500m (she had to keep taking walk breaks on the way up so is clearly not that fit at all (don't tell her I told you)) then we ran along the tops for a bit before coming down to play football again. It was ace!
I was such a hit there I have been invited back whenever I want- yippee!!!
Bye for now,
Anna

mum got message today - she is so rubbish with technology she didn't realise you could post person to person messages on the site. Ben said tests were ok but if we wanted allergen specific tests we would have to run the bloods through these. As I haven't reacted to anything yet, the only thing she is thinking about is pollen - but she says that is area specific anyway so not much use!!! She says when I get spayed (whatever that is) she will chop my ear thing off as well but the biopsy showed nothing sinister.

ps, those battery things have been acquired and camera is in bag!!! but knowing her she will forget to take it out of said bag for 6 months! Aunty Vicky my Animal Unit Manager (who is a vet nurse) at work says she thinks more hair has grown back on my face but wonders if my hair follicles are damaged under my neck so I might be bald there FOREVER!!! Mum said not to worry as you can't see it anyway unless I am upside down which I don't do in public really.

It's so nice to have a chuckle occasionally, and you provide them in abundance!
I've said it before....you really should get this in a book, we'd buy some for all the family!
Glad the break away was a success.

O'h Anna another wonderful update you have made my day again! It sound like you have had a wonderful weekend give Mum a nudge next time you are out to take the camera.
I am chuckling away here instead of doing a payroll run - so skiving! It's a good job i'm self employed or I would be in trouble!
I am so happy for you

Hi Guys,
Well, she finally did it - she remembered the camera! So here are some pictures of me, I don't think they are very good but Mum says that if I stayed still they may be a bit better but I can't stay still - there's SOOOO much to do! Mum says she doesn't think I have an off switch but who would want one anyway I told her, you might miss something exciting!
These are me checking out the smell of biggest brother Benjamin's feet (the farrier had just been and I ate all the off cuts but wondered if I could have a quick chew on his hoof itself. The football I am playing with is the one I confiscated some weeks ago if you remember
I hope these work but let me know if they don't,
Anna
PS, I might go to a professional next time . . .

ps she can't get them the right way up or the right size - Maybe Aunty Glenys can sneak into that post and rectify this otherwise I will be so embarassed my having such a technologically incompetent Mum!

At last! What great pics, specially the one with Benjamin (being a horse person myself) He's just keeping an eye in case he stands on her.

Doesn't it make Anna look tiny?
We're so happy this tale has such a happy ending, Karen must be thrilled too.
