Hi Guys,

Sorry I haven't been online for so long but once more, my hectic schedule is preventing me from posting these important updates. So . . .in bullet points below I'll let you know about my recent activities.

The other weekend, I went to play on Ilkley Moor for a whole weekend - Uncle Nick took me because Mum was going away to a dressage trainers convention - boring or what! I played for ages, my brothers came with me and I met my cousin (shaggy deerhound lurcher thing) for the first time. He growled at me in the garden (obviously hairy brother thought that was quite funny) but big black brother weighed straight in to defend me.

Mum has got all sorts of lotions and potions and feed supplements for my skin and her Animal Unit Manager has told her that if I am allergic to anything (including my own hormones - how does that work?) Cambridge vet labs can make a vaccine especially for me with MY OWN BLOOD!!! how cool is that! My own personal vaccine!

I had a bit of a confusing situation the other day - Mum has this pond in her garden and it has big green stepping stones in it. At least I thought they were so marched confidently out onto them just for them to sink and drop me in the pond! Hairy brother had to be there watching of course and sniggered loudly into his massive lion's mane of a ruff. I tried to look casual as if I had known the fickle green stones would do that but am not sure if I pulled it off. Mum said that if I do that when they have their lily flowers on she will not be impressed. I got the impression she was trying not to snigger like evil brother. Huh, so much for parental support.

There were some amazing sparkly birds about this last week and they make huge whizzes, pops and bangs - they were ace - mum said I was brilliant for not being scared but to be honest I hardly noticed them as I was playing football a lot of the time or chasing rabbits in the fields.

I am going away this weekend to a shoot day - big black brother goes on these and turns into a serious working dog but mum says I am going to get used to the gun sounds from a distance away - I pointed out that if I wasn't scared of fireworks then why would I be scared of tinpot little guns but she didn't agree - spoilsport!

I have included links to photos of me at my lake (ok, yes, the one I jumped in and found it was very cold and I couldn't swim as well as I thought and that Mum had to fish me out of(laughing hysterically)).

It's raining now but am about to go on evening rabbit patrol so will catch you later.

love, Anna xxxx
