We've had Jet now since June 1st and in the last week I have met 2 other labs from MKF on our local "walkies" field! A lovely yellow Jess and black Millie. I didn't expect to come across any, as we are in South Cheshire, but obviously the work you good people do is far and wide. We are just so grateful that we were chosen, we had been dogless for 7 days, but it was the first time in 30yrs that we had come down to an empty kitchen and it wasn't good. Normally we would have had another dog before losing the old one but we couldn't this time because of the nature of the one we had - she was a bit of a nutcase in many respects. It's lovely talking to other rescuers! Thank you all.

It is a small world, we were on Sandsend beach one day and bumped into someone who had adopted from MKF, it just goes to show if we spread the word we can help the rescue and the rescue can help many more labs.

We went to our Caravan and called off at Booths supermarket it was when I had the big sign in the back of my car and a Lady was waiting when we came out and told us she adopted her dog from us

There are just over 40 houses on our road and one is home to Faith a chocolate lab with one eye who was adopted from MKF about 4-5 years ago to join their existing dog Nelson.
Its a small, small world where MKF is concerned !!
