Bonnie's first Christmas

My First Christmas

Hi everyone, I have just enjoyed my first Christmas which was absolutely fantastic. :hello2:

Both Sheba and I spent a full week sniffing out the presents that were wrapped in bright coloured paper and placed under the Christmas tree and just knew that some of them were for us to either play with or more importantly (for I am a typical Labrador) to eat. Yum! Yum!

Then the great day arrived and we both had the chance to tear off the paper to reveal what was inside and boy oh boy did we have some wonderful surprises. There were plenty of cuddly toys of all shapes and sizes, squeaky toys for us to bite into and make them squeal, a pig that made a grunting noise (this only lasted about 10 minutes for I was desperate to discover what was making all that noise so I ate it). :1968:

We also had lots of goodies to eat although we were not allowed to eat them all at once or they would make us ill. I was more than happy to take that risk but our owners wouldn’t let me.

I played tug with Sheba and after charging all around full of excitement and pestering everyone, I proceeded to destroy a few of the squeaky toys including some belonging to Sheba. I eventually fell asleep and didn’t wake up until lunch time.

I did have so much fun and as the song says ‘I wish it could be Christmas every day’ and cannot wait until next year. My owner’s have said however that as I will be celebrating my first birthday on 16 January 2011 that if I am a good girl I may get some more presents.

I am not sure about being good, after all I am only 11 months old and still enjoying life and getting up to as much mischief as I can.

Hope you all had a good Christmas and wishing you all the very best for 2011 I just know it will be full of adventures and great fun.

Love to you all and hope you like the pictures
