Suzy - adopted 03/01/2011 - new update

Hi, just a quick note to update on Suzy's progress. She made her debut at the Worcester Gundog Club on Sunday and by virtue of her age was placed in the Advanced Class. Mark was a little surprised as although he has worked hard with her, he didn't think this is where she would be on her first go and the fact that she only came to us just into the New Year. She acquitted herself very well and coped with all of the tasks asked of her. At the end of the session the trainer pulled Mark aside and commented on the bond that they have and also the fact that she is packed with potential. She had never seen a dummy launcher, let alone retrieve from one but she did, and very stylishly too. So off again for more of the same, I only hope their two heads will fit back in the car for the way home. 
At home, she has fitted right in and hasn't put a foot wrong. She is such a good natured girl and now very loyal to Mark.
I will hopefully get some pictures over the weekend and post as soon as I can.
