A happy Jet in the sunshine !
Jet has had a wonderful weekend with us ! We're so glad we brought him home ! Luckily the sun has been kind to us and he's loved every minute of it. He's so lively and inquisitive, he really has a beautiful temperament. In fact,his tail has never stopped wagging since I brought him home. Unfortunately he has a sore mouth, probably due to biting the cage bars and barking too much, as did Billy when we went away for a week, but he's improving all the time. He's seeing my Vet on Tuesday for a full healthcheck and I'm keeping everything crossed for him.
The main problem is his back legs, he can't get into the car so we lift him in, but he's a good traveller and no trouble at all. We have Billy in the hatchback and Jet sprawled out on the back seat and he's ready for anything when we stop and open the doors. This weekend really has been a very enjoyable time with Jet and Billy !!

Wonderful pictures Martin. Billy and Jet look as though they are the best of mates and have been together forever!
I sometimes have to lift my old Max into the car - not an easy task as he is as big boned as Jet and I am only 5'2"! I try to take him out in the car only when my hubby is around to help. I may invest in one of those ramp thingies so that Max can take himself into the car. Has anyone used one and if so are they any good?
