Cinder

Hi to all you fellow Labrador lovers,

We adopted Cinder just over 3 weeks ago through Carol at MKF. Gus her new brother and myself drove the 3 hour journey to meet our new family member who was very very waggily and friendly on our arrival. She jumped straight into the boot of the car without hesitation.

We drove home with Cinder looking out of one window and Gus the other, not exactly love at first sight for the pair of them! Thankfully it didn't last long and they are bonding really well (he has now allowed her to lie in his bed, he is such a spoiled brat!). She is an absolute sweetheart, a very well behaved friendly girl. We live on a farm and are so pleased with her as she is not phased by the animals at all, so has fitted in like a dream.

We find it strange that she doesn't like the water at all, although on a trip to the beach she did brave it and get her legs wet!! suits me, one less to shake all over the kitchen upon return from daily adventures, although she does love a good roll in anything really stinky she can find - oh the joys!!

I would like to thank Carol & Labrador rescue for the amazing work that they do, I am genuinely in awe of them. I would also like to thank Cinder's original family for letting us look after their lovely girl. I am in no doubt she is very happy and settled with Gus & us. We have nicknamed her " The Roadrunner" as she runs through the grass fields at lightening speed, it's such fun to watch.

I hope I can successfully load some pictures, here goes!!

Hi Julie, welcome from us too! :hello2:

Lovely to hear things are going so well. :1961: Enjoy the fact that Cinder isn't too keen on water at the moment. Neither of our's were once, now they are real water-babies who can't wait to get in there, whether it's sea, lake, river or paddling pool! :1970:

Great pictures by the way. :thumbright:
