Duke

Duke's been with us for 2 weeks now and a lot has happened since then. He's a fast learner and has gone from understanding only one command; 'sit'. When he sat he did so for only seconds. He now understands 'sit' 'stay' and 'lie down'. 'Fetch' and 'leave it' are getting there but it depends on whether or not there's something more interesting to catch his eye. So, still easily distracted but we have great faith in his ability to learn.
He's also now been neutered so is like a bull in a china shop with his plastic bonnet on! Amazingly he doesn't attempt to get it off - unlike his canny collar that we were using to teach him not to pull. Can't use that with the plastic bonnet in place so that will have to wait for a few more days.
All in all, he's a lovely boy and it's a pleasure to be greeted by him in a morning.
Thank you for allowing us to adopt him.
