Molly's 1st Gotcha!

One year ago today, we made our way to Rescue and met and fell in love with a beautiful young labrador called Holly. She came home with us, changed her name to Molly, and once again our home, so horribly quiet, tidy and hair free since the death of our wonderful old boy Alfie, was filled with all the loveliness of a Lab. We feel so happy to have her in our lives. The birds especially ducks, of the Fylde coast might not agree however as Molly regularly takes off across the estuary in pursuit! The ducks of the Lake District enjoyed Molly's trip to Derwentwater recently and we watched in alarm as Molly set off across the lake chasing a group of ducks who flew just far enough away each time to keep Molly paddling out towards the centre of the lake, convinced she could reach them. Finally, even miss Molly had to admit defeat and headed back to us on the shore. We are looking forward to many more years with our gorgeous Molly and want to thank everyone at MKF for the chance to adopt her. Here is a photo taken today on our walk along the dunes to Lytham.
