As everyone else has shown off their beautiful dogs, here's Willy.
He is my FIRST dog, though we've had many dogs over the years which have been family pets. I had arranged to adopt a dog through lab rescue scotland but the family changed their minds the day we were supposed to pick him up, so I was devastated. However, there was a litter of black labs locally and a friend said I should 'just have a look' ..... and I'm so glad I did. He's now 7 1/2 and I love him to bits. He's definately MY dog too. Unfortunately he has HD and arthritis (the recent pics show the degeneration in his elbows), but it doesn't stop him finding huge sticks to carry while we're out on walks, or swimming half way to Ireland if we're at the beach! But he's also a lovable softie (if boisterous at times), and is a joy to have around.
