This marks the end of a terrific week for me as my new grandson arrived on Wednesday - our first grandchild!
Some of you may remember my eldest daughter breaking both her wrists playing hockey two years ago. Well thankfully she made a full recovery, and she and my son-in-law have become proud parents of the most gorgeous little boy. (I know, I'm biased!)

Perfect weight. I bet he's absolutely gorgeous
I worked with someone who had a son. Apparently you have 21 days to register the birth/name - it took them until the 20th day to come up with a name. We were all so excited, imagining it would be something really unusual..
..they named him Jack and they didn't even give him a middle name

I thought it was three weeks but it's six apparently. We could be in for a long wait!
