Labrador Rescue

Hi all,

I know my girls aren't from rescue but I love this site and sharing my girls too as we all know labs are so so special.

After saying how special these babies are can you believe I got my dates mixed up and missed Kinder's 1st gotcha last week (I thought it was today).........So we have had Kinder a year and a week today... It's gone so fast. She is an absolute pleasure to own, she is so calm, does as she is told not like mischievous sister Coco

She has recovered really well from being spayed and is back to full exercise, with kisses and cuddles on the couch included.

Kinder is a typical tomboy of the doggie world will try anything and is not frightened of anything either Coco although mischievous she's the Mrs Bucket of the doggie world they are so funny together. I bought them a paddling pool the other day because we got a little bit of sun.....before I could warm the water up Kinder was in it like a shot cold hose pipe water, she didn't care Coco on the other hand pulled her foot out looked at me as if to say you've got to be kidding me it's freezing

They have been on a lovely 2 hour stroll this morning the walk is probably 90 mins with 30 mins sniffing lampposts, trees, blades of grass. Followed by a couple of hours both flat out on their beds in the garden.

Love your photos, happy first gotcha.

What lovely pics of your girls.....it was funny to read about Kinder's fearless attitude, Peppy is just the same, finding new ways into the river that none of my other labs ever thought of, swimming up to a large black German Shepherd who had a tree branch in his mouth and giving him That Look and taking it off him, and most recently jumping into a duck pond (not interested in ducks, just their bread) and not being able to climb out... I managed to persuade her to swim across to where I could pull her out.
