At last we have a result from the labs regarding Bryn.
How we can be so pleased that our Gorgeous Boy has an infection deep in his hip I'll never know, but believe me, it's the news we were praying for.
Although he has and will always have the dreaded HD, we now know for sure why he suddenly took a turn for the worse. The results show that he does have a bacterial infection deep in his right hip joint and as we thought he has improved since being on an antibiotic to fight this. Now they know the actual bacteria we are up against it can be targeted more accurately with a slightly different antibiotic. We have 3 days left of thepriginal one to go and I'll go and collect the new one before that runs out. The vet says this will be a "long haul", but if our Beautiful Bryn continues to improve and is as happy as he seems to be right now it will all be worht while.

You must feel as if you are half way there now, knowing what you are dealing.

Positive thoughts continue for Bryn.

So pleased Bryn can be cured of infection and it was nothing sinister, a long haul never seems as bad when everything else is ruled out.
