It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that I had to let Maisie go to Rainbow Bridge today. Her laryngeal paralysis had become much worse over the last few days and last night she went off her back legs. She was just the best girl whom I loved dearly. She brought me such pleasure, joy and love over the last 13 years; more than I can ever express. She was a fabulous " big sister" to Annie and a faithful companion to me. She will be so missed and leaves a huge hole in the Rankin household. Run free at the bridge my sweet Maisie Moo.

Oh Aileen, how very sad, poor Maisie, you gave her the last act of kindness and selflessness that we can give.

Dear Aileen I'm so sorry to read that you have lost your beloved Maisie Moo I know from your posts how much she meant to you. Maisie has been part of your family for a wonderful 13 years and you must have so many happy memories and I sincerely hope that they will bring you some comfort as you remember her in the months to come.
