Frank's 4 month update

He's really settled in!
Image
A pint, a log fire, all he needs is a pipe, smoking jacket and 2 pairs of slippers (or should that be a quad of slippers).
Image
He's definitely our dog or more accurately we are his humans.

Next week is his monthly weigh in to see if he's getting even further away from his target weight...can we find frozen swede by the hundredweight anywhere!

The following week he's off mountaineering whether he likes it or not.My guess is he'll love it...all those new smells to sniff. He might need a bit more football practice to up his fitness levels beforehand though.

He's a tough guy - a couple of weeks ago he was swimming in the sea; couldn't stop him! I paddled it was f..f..f..f..very cold!

The big lad's doing good...No worries.

For his most recent misadventure see http://lalows.blogspot.com/2009/03/scut ... afari.html

And if it all gets too much - he just goes to bed.

Another bottle of 'dog' anyone?

Car repairs not too expensive thankfully. Oh we do have adventures with Frank - been out today looking for Lancashire's poisonous snkes neither frank or I found any!! Surprise surprise.

Thanks for the Farm Foods tip I'll be trying them tomorrow. Tescos have knocked it on the head cos it;s summer now apparently not the time fro winter seasonal veg!

The rug by the fire is up for grabs if the cat gets there first its hers, if Frank gets there first he gets moved! Poor devil.

Think Frank's face says it all "Why didn't he do the stick test?" :2019: Pleased the repairs weren't as costly as you feared.

He's a gorgeous looking dog but I don't think he could get any nearer to the fire if he tried.

Love it. The pictures in front of the fire made me laugh. And the ones in the Discovery say it all. :1967:

Oh no ... Franks been for his monthly weigh in...despite copious quantities of diced swede (thanks for the Farm Foods tip) he's gone up 0.1kg! That means he musta converted some of his flab to muscle?!?
