Hello all,

It’s Seamus.

Well, as of this weekend, I have been in this mad house that I now call home a whole month.

I am sorry it has taken so long to write but I have been very busy. Just in one month I have:

* Sent an email to my old family to let them know I’m ok (yes, aren’t I clever knowing how to type)

* Been on some exciting adventures/walks with my new mum and dad.

* Been swimming.

* ‘Helped’ my new granddad do some gardening and buried bones in holes he dug to put plants in :1968: .

* Pinched (and gobbled down) a pasty as its owner rested it on a bench while he tied his shoe laces. (Now, I know it was naughty, and I’m not supposed to eat hooman food, but it smelt lovely and he really shouldn’t have left it near me when dad and I were waiting for mum to come out of the bakers. Besides, dad bought him another one AND a cream bun to say sorry - though he now calls me hoover from the way I quickly food/crumbs disappear. :2019: )

* Visited my grandma’s a few times where I’ve learnt where biscuits are kept now so she has had to change her cupboards round and put them where I can’t reach.

* Visited the vets for a check up and got a chew from the nurse for being so good (and handsome)

* Made friends with lots of other dogs who all seem to love me and want to follow me everywhere (well, why wouldn’t they?)

* Met my adoptive brother though, being a tortoise, he’s incredibly dull and no fun to play with.

* Met my adoptive cousins, Barney the rescue staffie and Archie the Hungarian Wirehaired Visla.

* Slept a lot (Well, I need to get my beauty sleep don’t I) :2381:

I’ve decided it isn’t that bad here really. Apart from the mad lady next door that sings a lot when I’m trying to get a bit of peace and quiet so I tell her I’m Simon Cowell, she can’t sing and she shouldn’t give up her day job.

Apparently, I’m getting a bath soon. I can’t wait. :1953: I love water…especially when I get to do the twist and soak everyone as I dry off…mum and dad say they best wear waterproofs.

Hey, I’ve even toned up a bit from all the exercise I’ve been getting…which makes me trot with pride in the park and as helped the stiff legs I had too.

Thank you Glenys for helping find another nice home for me to live in. I owe you. You are so kind. :2086:

Well, I’m off to have another snooze now before walkies again.

Lots of dog licks and cuddles.
