Buddy is growing 'FAST' !!!

PUPDATE ON 'BUDDY' ! Buddy is growing 'FAST' !! 
Saying hello to Mr Squirrel !
When he first came almost 3 weeks ago he could quite easily walk beneath Billy's tummy without touching....now he can't !!! 
Great fun yesterday !!!
My son James took Billy and I took Buddy ( 3rd time out on lead ) for a short walk/exploration.
As usual for a pup, he always wants to be in front and is Very inquisitive !!
I've bought him a nice soft 'slip-lead' because his bones etc.. are still forming and I don't want to cause his neck too much stress, he's already on his 3rd collar by the way, and the slip lead won't allow him to drag his head out of his collar if he decides to engage reverse gear ! And I must say, he did very very well !!
I'm starting early with his lead training... walking to heel and not pulling etc... and by the end of a 15 minute walk he had started to get the idea. Still very early days I know, but I'm starting his training early while he's very impressionable and susceptible to new ideas. He already sits on command ( 3rd time lucky ) 
And talk about growing fast ??!!!!! I swear he gets heavier by the day !!
His breakfast now consists of Readibrek followed by a little scrambled egg and cheese, and dinnertime.... well, he and Billy are fed together side by side with Billy recieving his first by about 5 seconds, therefore reinforcing his position of Top-Dog!! Both dogs finish eating at exactly the same time. Buddy then goes to check out Billy's dish to see if he's left anything....Fat-Chance !!!!
We've also had fun watching the antics of little 'un trying to pinch a chew bone off Billy, he's had a couple of severe warnings which is good, but after Buddy gets over the shock, he goes and barks at Billy. Buddy is becoming quite vocal now and last night was the first night he barked when the doorbell rang. Another GOOD sign that he's settled in and knows that he lives here now and he is defending his home, with the help of Big Billy of course !! 
Well, that's about it for now,.... looking forward to another exciting, fun-filled day with Billy & Buddy !!
