Labrador Rescue

Hello everyone

I have just returned from a week in the Lake District with my mum and dad and Sheba and love travelling in the car. We have had a fantastic time and I have even had a paddle in Lake Coniston – I wasn’t quite brave enough just yet to go for a proper swim but I did enjoy my paddle whilst fetching a stick that was thrown into the water. Maybe next time!

I am getting on a lot better with Sheba, we are becoming good friends and we play fight nearly all of the time – well most times I play and Sheba tries to fight me off. But we do share lots of things and I know that she does love me really as she lets me share the couch and her bed – if not I just jump on anyway.

I am eating all of my food have grown a lot taller and have been clean now for nearly two whole weeks – not even one little slip and everyone tells me what a wonderful girl I am. I have also learned to sit down when my owners stop as well as before we cross the road. I am also let off the lead sometimes to play in the park with Sheba as my owners are very pleased that (on most occasions) I come back when called.

All in all life is wonderful, I am learning new things all of the time, still enjoy getting up to mischief, tormenting Sheba and just having a great time as every day is a new adventure for me.

Both Bonnie and Sheba are lovely dogs and I'm glad Sheba is now more accepting of her lively young sister. Have to say Bonnie and all the pups are such wonderful sturdy looking beauties, they are a credit to the Rescue, their foster mums and their forever families. Not forgetting their own lovely mums too!
