What an adventure, glad to hear that Moira is recovering well from her fall. The pictures are stunning ,thanks for including us with your story. :love3: :love3: :love3:

Well done Jack and Tess :thumbright: :thumbright:

We have problems with mobile phone cover also but the mountains here are nothing like the Cairngorms. You can't believe that people who get into difficulties abroad are able to be rescued following contact with the UK.

Well done to the Rescue team and those who helped in Moira's care.

Wow, what an adventureous walk you had.

Your pictures are brilliant Kathleen, shame about Moira's accident, do hope she makes a full recovery.

Jack and Tess were so good in the helicopter :1952:

Moira in hospital

Image

That's so kind of you Kay, to ask after Moira.

Her ankle was dislocated and broken in three places so quite a nasty injury. I've put in a photo of her taken a couple of days after surgery to pin it back together. Once the swelling went down she got a hard cast on and finally got out of hospital 8 days after the accident. It must be frustrating for her but she's being very positive and is doing really well hopping around on her crutches. The two of us were out today and she treated me to a lovely lunch in our local Garden Centre!

Jack and Tess seem to have completely recovered from their trauma. A helicopter went over yesterday (admittedly quite high up) but they didn't react at all. What stars they were that day and I'm very proud of them.

Love to all and thanks for the good wishes to Moira - which I'll pass on to her.

Kathleen, missed all this topic as I was away. :( What can I say that has not already been said. Fantastic pictures and what stars Jack and Tess are. :love2:

Good News that Moira is recovering and managing to get about. :thumbright: I should imagine it will take until next year for her to get her strength back in her ankle to be able to do those climbs again. :(
