Update from Elmo...
Sounds like Elmo has landed on all 4 paws...
Hi Kathryn
Just thought I would drop you a line to let you know how Elmo is getting on.
As you know we loved Elmo from the minute we met him and he came home on Sunday. He spent the rest of the day exploring the house and garden. He has settled well and really is a super little boy who loves being with you and likes everyone he meets. He always has a smile and a waggy tail. He is a real softy who adores snuggling up and being petted. In fact he is the first dog I know who literally gives you a hug !
He is a really bright boy and is already picking up on his name, recall and sit . He had one accident on Sunday which was only to be expected but nothing since ! Due to his background he defiantly has a love of food and jumps up when food is being carried, eaten etc . On the first day he also did a bit of hovering up of some left overs on the kitchen worktop. However he learns very quickly and is now happy to lay down on the floor while we eat. He also does not feel it necessary to clear his bowl in 3 seconds flat at every meal !
As Ky said he is still very much a puppy and loves to play. The girls went shopping on Sunday to buy him some toys etc and he races from one to the other and often doesn’t know which toy to play with first. He also adores the bean bags in the front room and snuggles down on them at every opportunity.
He is just a delight
Thank you for your help and rescuing him in the first place.

Another fantastic update. Elmo certainly does appear to have fallen on all four paws.
